John Buckley is a senior member of the Finial Group’s brokerage services team and is focused on brokerage including landlord and end user representation. John is responsible for acquiring and developing new business relationships and advising the firm’s clients on the most cost-effective solutions for accommodating their needs. John provides lease analysis, financial analysis, market research, negotiations, and value-based recommendations for each of his clients.

Prior to joining Finial Group, John spent two summers interning with an oilfield services company, headquartered here in Houston. Since joining Finial Group in 2018, John has completed deals across all asset types in the Commercial Real Estate sector. His initial responsibilities at Finial Group included the leasing assignment of 2401 Fountain View Drive, a 10-story Class B office building in Houston’s Galleria submarket. John and other members of the Fountain View leasing team completed 60,000 square feet of new leases in the summer of 2019, bringing the building to a stabilized 80%occupancy. John’s other career highlights include assisting in the lease up of the Four Seasons Business Park on Bourgeois Road, the lease up of Brittmoore Park Business Park, and the lease up of the Harms Road Business Park, where the respective leasing teams brought all the parks to 100% occupancy. John has represented small businesses, local investors, institutional grade investment companies, and a publicly traded oil & gas company in his over 3 years at Finial Group.

John was born and raised in Houston, Texas and has spent most of his life in Southeast Texas. John is a graduate of the University of Alabama’s Culverhouse College of Commerce where he majored in Marketing. While there, John was an active member of the Phi Gamma Delta fraternity and Ducks Unlimited.
